I created this piece at the beginning of 2020, searching for something that would bring me joy amidst the looming darkness the world was falling into. It was an easy choice to work on a piece of fan art and I knew exactly who I wanted to paint.

Sailor Jupiter (from the Maga and Anime, Sailor Moon) has always been one of my favorite fictional women. She is strong, brave, and fiercely loyal, all things I hoped I could be. But, she is also beautifully feminine, loves to cook, and has a green thumb! She is both mighty and vulnerable—a true testament to the diversity and non-binary of feminity.

She is power.
