One of my favorite gay icons, Aphrodite is an ancient Greek goddess of love, beauty, desire, and all aspects of sexuality. While creating this piece I listened to "Venus and Aphrodite" by Bettany Hughes, who took me on a journey to discover the truth behind Aphrodite, and why she is so much more than nudity, romance and sex. I highly recommend reading it!
